We’ll need some basic documents and identification to begin. The utility will run tests on your system, and once you pass, we’ll proceed to the next step.
If you don’t have technical drawings yet, we’ll prepare them. We’ll also handle the application process with the city, though some local governments may require extra documents.
After your application is accepted, we may need to update your service entrance and make other adjustments to meet the utility’s net metering standards.
The utility will conduct one last site inspection. Once you’re approved, you can switch your system settings to begin sending excess power back to the grid.
